three steps, no ceremony

Install it like it's 2005.

A disk image and a drag.

  1. Open the .dmg and drag Surferse into Applications.
  2. Updates notify, never install. At every launch Surferse fetches a signed update manifest from surferse.app, checks its ED25519 signature, and tells you when a new build is out. No cookies are sent; the server sees your IP address and user agent.
  3. Optional: to sync your bookmarks, tabs, history and settings, sign in with UniAuth and provide a sync key: a sync passphrase or your UniAuth Vault master password. Signing in alone shares nothing between devices.
